Welcome New and Returning Students

Mark your calendars – the first day of classes begins on Monday, August 29th. Here are some important things to keep in mind as you start or continue on your journey to academic success.

1. Are you ready? Have you printed out your class schedule, purchased a flashdrive, notebooks, pens, and any other supplies you’ll need.  Being prepared and organized is half the battle.
2. Keep in mind that there may be some bumps along the way the first few days. Try to keep things in perspective and not sweat the small stuff.
3. Don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it. There are many free support services available to you at the college but don’t wait until you’ve gotten too far behind.
4. This is an exciting time in your life. Make the most of it and enjoy the new friends and experiences you’ll encounter along the way.

Welcome Back!

The library would like to welcome our new and returning students and faculty and hope you had an enjoyable and relaxing summer. The semester is off to a busy start with the hallways bustling and students scrambling. We are happy to see so many familiar faces and look forward to meeting our new students and faculty. Please stop by the library to get a free library card (if you don’t already have one) and meet our staff. We’re here to support your academic needs so take advantage of the library’s services and resources.
